Meta Maps
A meta is a detail that narrows down where you are — which side of the road traffic drives on, what shape the guardrails are, what colour the chevrons on a bend are. Each map below takes one of those details and colours the world by it, so you can see the borders a single clue draws.
These are reference maps, not quizzes. Learn the shape of one, then go and use it.
How to read these maps
Colour is the answer
Each colour is one value of the thing being mapped. The legend on every map lists them with how many countries carry each.
Hover for the detail
Hovering a country gives its value, any extra note, and which source that value came from — so you can judge how much to trust it.
“No info” is a real answer
Grey means nobody has researched that country yet, not that there is nothing to see. Nothing here is guessed to fill a gap.
